Description
This Cordes 806 rotary ironer is a prime example of exceptional German engineering offering maximum performance with a minimum of effort.It easily irons household linen such as sheets, tablecloths, pillow cases and even shirts, making it ideal for use in B&Bs, hotels, restaurants, care homes or at home. The roller has a working width of 33½ inches so that sheets, tablecloths etc. can be ironed in full width or doubled up, all functions being easily controlled by the foot-operated bar.
It has two individually controlled thermostats with 5 settings offering the flexibility to either use the full or just half the width of the roller for smaller items; incorporated are also a finger guard, a detachable ironing table and a hanging rail for finished items.
And best of all, anybody can operate the machine as no special training is needed.
My wife originally bought it for her mother in Germany, but she rarely used it, so we rescued it and brought it over to the UK. However, we are just a two person household so it’s a bit much for our needs, and it really ought to go to where it can be put to good use.
